Sacraments

All families requesting Sacraments or letters to be a Sponsor/Godparent are required to be registered parishioners in good standing for 3+ months.

BAPTISMS

Baptisms are scheduled monthly contact the rectory for more information.

FIRST PENANCE, FIRST EUCHARIST, AND CONFIRMATION

Preparation for these sacraments is required by attending Catholic school or PREP. Children are expected to receive a Catholic upbringing in their family and have formal religious training. Attendance to weekly Masses is a duty, a necessity, and a requirement.

MARRIAGE

Engaged couples are expected to call Father at least a year in advance but no later than 6 months prior to the wedding date. All couples must attend Diocesan Marriage PREP Classes.

SPONSORS OR GODPARENTS

A certificate of eligibility is required from your parish that you are a Catholic in good standing. A non-Catholic can be a witness, provided one God- parent meets eligibility requirements.
